The planning begins - my 5th annual around-the-world trip. This time I'm planning to visit the following: Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Greece, Switzerland, and France. I'll visit 7 new countries, bringing my total to 81 countries visited in a lifetime!
It is always amazing to me how complex putting a trip like this together. Lots of planning and details. I always start with my air reservations, made through www.staralliance.com. I use their Around-The-World fares with all of the Star Alliance airlines which gives me a lot of flexibility.
